Product based on water-reducible synthetic resins, which produces a complete barrier against any type of grease or oil. Product based on water-reducible synthetic resins, which produces a complete barrier against any type of grease or oil. Suitable for the protection against grease and oils of prints on any type of paper. Achieving an effective functional barrier will depend fundamentally on the type of paper, a very porous paper will require the application of several layers of the product, in order to create a continuous film on its surface. The application system can be doctor blade, flexo or gravure. The product air dries. Sometimes and depending on the layer applied, drying by convection or infrared air will be necessary. Does not contain plasticizers or solvents

NORMATIVE

  • The NOFAT 520 anti-grease varnish is suitable for food use. Assuming that the proper processing of the product can be used in the countries of the European Community for the manufacture of materials in contact with food or articles made of paper and cardboard in accordance with article 3.1a and article 17 of the Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 (“Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and its amendments of the European Parliament and of the Council, of October 27, 2004, on materials and articles intended to come into contact with food and by which the Directives are repealed 80/590 / CEE and 89/109 / CEE ").
     
  • Compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, especially the suitability of the articles for the given application, the effect on the odor and taste of food and compliance with any given limitations, must be ensured by the person which introduces items in circulation (see the last paragraph).
     
  • This product does not contain dual-use additives as listed in: - food additives by Regulation (EC) No 1333/2008, as amended (Union List of Food Additives: Regulation (EU) No 1129/2011 amending Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1333/2008) - flavorings by Regulation (EC) No 1334/2008.
     
  • Germany: The composition of the product meets the requirements of recommendation XIV. “Polymer-Dispersionen” (Polymer Dispersions) by BfR dated 01.09.2017 and can therefore also be used in accordance with recommendation XXXVI “Papier, Kartons und Papen für den Lebensmittelkontakt” (Paper and cardboard for contact with food) dated 09.01.2017
     
  • Italy: The composition of the product complies with the requirements of Ministerial Decree 21.3.73 and its amendments “Materiali a contatto con gli alimenti (Materials in contact with food)”.
